Cresta Court hotel starts second phase of £1.5m refurb

Best Western Cresta Court hotel, located in Altrincham, South Manchester, has begun the second phase of its £1.5m refurbishment.

The property’s 14 executive bedrooms are being transformed to create a “classic and welcoming atmosphere” and to complement the property’s main guest rooms, which were refurbished last year.

The independent hotel said that the refurbishment is an effort to capitalise on its “growing business travel market”.

The refurbishment of the bedrooms is the second part of a £1.5m investment programme that started 18 months ago, which included changes to the property’s guestrooms, bar, reception area and meeting room.

Paul Hindley, general manager, said: “The initial refurbishment helped increase footfall and the second stage is set to build on that further. The new interior design of the bedrooms brings with it a warm, relaxing environment that we know our guests will love.

“Our location on the edge of Manchester and the beautiful Cheshire countryside gives us a unique proposition, and with the added refurbishment, we are aiming to maximise the hotel’s potential.”

The refurbishment of the new rooms is expected to be completed in early 2016.
