The POLAR electric vehicle (EV) charging network has joined forces with QHotels to provide EV owners with a place to recharge their car while they enjoy a stay in the hotel.
The POLAR network, operated by ChargemasterPlc, is involved in the deployment of 4,000 charging points across the UK. QHotels, which has 21 4-star hotels throughout the country, has installed charge posts at its Ashford International Hotel in Ashford; Bridgewood Manor in Rochester and the Hampshire Court Hotel in Basingstoke. There are further plans to install more in the near future.
Philip King, director of property at the hotel group said: “QHotels are delighted to be partnering with Chargemaster in this exciting roll out of electric vehicle charging points throughout the country, this fits very well with QHotels culture of sustainability.”
