The Holiday Inn Express Perth, in Scotland, has undergone a complete renovation of all its 81 guest bedrooms, public areas and two meeting rooms.

The work, which has taken 18 months to complete, involved the bedrooms receiving a “fresh design” including new carpets, curtains, chairs and sofa beds. The corridors received new carpets and painting and the two meeting rooms have improved LED lighting, blinds, carpets, tables, chairs and pictures of the surrounding area.

In addition, the hotel has also improved its free guest WiFi and the front of house has been enhanced with new furniture, carpets and atmospheric lighting, as well as an improved food and beverage offering.

Morag Morgan, general manager, said: “We are thrilled to unveil our newly renovated hotel. Now that it’s complete, our guests and staff can now fully enjoy the investment made.

“We have a real mix of people who stay with us or use our events and meeting spaces, from local Perth companies and leisure guests.”

The hotel, which currently employs 30 people, first opened in 1999.
