The 5-star star resort Rockliffe Hall recently won a gold award for its Destination Rockliffe campaign at the recent Meetings Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA) in London.
Based in Hurworth, Rockliffe Hall picked up the Best Brand Marketing Campaign for Destination Rockliffe, which focused on building the Rockliffe Hall brand on a national level and raising the profile of the North East region and what it has to offer.
Marketing manager of Rockliffe Hall Katie Scott said: “This is a tremendous honour for the team as so many very high profile brands were in the running. We invest a lot of time in ensuring our brand constantly evolves and it can often be difficult because we’re a young company and also because the North East region can seem quite isolated from areas such as London and the South East. But this award is great recognition for both our resort and the North East as a whole.”
Despite being in its relative infancy, Rockliffe Hall has already received a number of accolades and awards, such as being named as the fifth most luxurious venue in Europe and the Large Hotel of the Year at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in May this year.
Speaking about Rockliffe’s Hall’s latest accolade, MD Nick Holmes said: “The MIMA awards showcase the best brands and marketing campaigns in the meetings and events sector. To have our brand recognised nationally is such a great achievement for the team and shows now that we are really on the map.”
