As the final part of The Mere’s £15 million redevelopment its George Duncan Suite and two boardrooms have been refurbished to the highest degree of specification.
Capable of holding up to 200 guests, the George Duncan Suite has its own bar, lounge and connecting syndicate room and can host small weddings, corporate banquets and theatre-style meetings.
The newly designed conferencing suites were designed and refurbished by Wilmslow-based Mather & Co, the company responsible for the rest of the resort’s development.
Events manager at The Mere Janice Crosby said: “The George Duncan Suite is hugely popular for a range of corporate hospitality events and we’re delighted with the results of the refurbishment. Our boardrooms are regularly booked up too and we wanted to ensure we were delivering a consistently high quality experience at the resort. It’s exciting too to mark the final stage of our significant development plans.”
