Mantis has formed a partnership with global boutique hotel specialist Mr & Mrs Smith that will see Mantis’ new booking engine channel powered by Mr & Mrs Smith’s proprietary technology.
A family-run collection of award-winning, privately-owned, five-star properties, Mantis and its customers will benefit from the new interface through increased sales capacity and an improved user experience.
The booking engine channel, called the Smith Availability Management System, was designed in liaison with an advisory panel of hoteliers to make for optimal inventory management.
Founder and chairman of Mantis Adrian Gardiner commented: “We have been inspired by what Smith Hotels has achieved over the last 10 years and feel privileged to be aligned with this dynamic group. The endorsement from the Smith brand and access to their technology is an invaluable asset to further properties joining the unique and luxurious Mantis Collection portfolio.”
The Mantis and Smith interface will launch to market in June. Co-founder and CTO of Mr & Mrs Smith Tamara Heber-Percy said: “We are excited by this opportunity to share our experience and technology with a hand-picked partner like Mantis Collection. Our specialist, in-house development team has created a system that offers complex functionality, and should provide Mantis’ world-wide collection of hotels with a user-friendly solution to inventory management and online bookings.”
