Lancaster London is proud to announce that its generous guests have helped raise £7,467.43 for Hospitality Action through the “donate a pound at checkout” scheme.
Guests were invited to give an extra £1 on top of their bill to support the charity, and the results were fantastic. The donation cheque was presented to the charity’s chief executive Penny Moore on Friday 31 May by hotel manager Sally Beck. The money will be used by the charity to support hospitality employees who find themselves in crisis; for example, suffering from life-altering illnesses or bereavement.
The hotel, renowned for its panoramic views over Hyde Park, is heavily involved in raising money for charity, and also completed a fundraising abseil for Springboard UK last month collecting over £15,000 for those requiring help to enter the hospitality industry.
