The DoubleTree by Hilton, Bristol City Centre hotel has maintained its position as the best four-star venue in the city by one of the country’s rating bodies.
With an AA score of 80%, the property rounds off the year which has seen the Redcliffe Way-based hotel maintain high occupancy levels throughout 2017.
In summary the AA report said that the hospitality and service provided a good mix of a friendly welcome with helpful and efficient service.
Its occupancy levels have been helped by visitor spikes from events such as the Champions League final and Coldplay concerts in Cardiff, as well as a host of Bristol-based events including international cricket matches and concerts at the Lloyds Amphitheatre.
John said: “This is the third year in a row where we have improved our merit rating with the AA and I’d like to thank all the team who have worked tirelessly to make the hotel what it is.
“We will however need to up our game when it comes to maintaining what have been very positive occupancy levels. Fortunately, being located in the heart of the city and being part of the DoubleTree brand does help attract those looking for quality accommodation.”
