Redefine BDL Hotels has confirmed a management deal for a new Hampton by Hilton property in Manchester, set to open in 2020.
The £17.5m, 221-bedroom hotel will be built on the corner of Rochdale Road and Sharp Street in Manchester’s northern quarter.
The building will feature a restaurant, fitness centre and spaces for meetings, being suited for both leisure and business.
Funding for the project has been provided by Hong Kong based IP investment management in conjunction with asset manager Maven Capital Partners.
Andrew Robb, RBH’s chief business development officer, said: “Hampton by Hilton Manchester Northern Quarter will be RBH’s third Hampton by Hilton property, and our fourth property in Manchester. We’re thrilled to add yet another hotel to our growing portfolio.”
RBH portfolio of managed properties also include Hampton by Hilton London Docklands and Hampton by Hilton London Gatwick Airport, in addition to other branded properties such as Ihg, Accor and Wyndham Hotels.
