Comprising 158-bedrooms, the 16-storey property has now been handed over to Premier Inn in time for its February 2021 opening.
Richard Aldread, head of construction in the UK and Ireland at Premier Inn, said that the latest Manchester property “strengthens our presence” in the city, bringing the brand to the “extremely popular” micro-market that is the Oxford Road and Deansgate area.
The development represented a second partnership between Premier Inn and Russell WBHO, following the Dale Street hotel that was completed in 2012.
Featuring a multi storey car park on the first ten floors of the building, the site has achieved a BREEAM very good rating, and has been developed to contribute to wider carbon reduction efforts.
Gareth Russell, joint managing director at Russell WBHO, said: “One of the most visually eye-catching buildings we’ve ever delivered, the new Premier Inn at Circle Square is also one of the greenest and most advanced in terms of energy saving and carbon reduction.
“We’ve created a building which will provide occupants with a comfortable stay and the reassurance that they’re playing a part in reducing the city’s carbon output.”
