Bristol-based serviced apartment and aparthotel provider, Your Apartment, has revealed it has acquired the lease of the Clifton House Hotel and will transform it into its third largest collection of tech-driven serviced apartments in Bristol.
Accompanied by contractors, co-founders, Charlie and Toby Guest have already started work converting the hotels’ 25 bedrooms into design-led short term rental apartments. The property is expected to open in early November 2021.
Toby Guest said: “Several months since we launched our flagship aparthotel in Bristol, we’re overjoyed that we now have a new group of serviced apartments to add to our rapidly growing portfolio of short term lets in the Bristol region.”
Located in Clifton, the firm said the new venture will comprise 25 new studio serviced apartments. Each will benefit from having a fully integrated kitchenette, en-suite bathroom, king-bed, space to dine and Wi-Fi. There is also ample onsite private parking and bicycle storage.
Your Apartments added that the serviced apartments will “predominantly be a place to call ‘home’ by professionals” working away for short periods during the week, and that on the weekend, it will provide space for leisure guests to stay while visiting the City of Bristol.
Toby Guest concluded: “More and more hoteliers are coming around to the idea that visitors to the city are moving away from the typical branded city centre hotels models pioneered by Premier Inn, Ibis and Holiday Inn. A new era is sweeping in where both business and leisure guests desire more in-room amenities and a more independent style of living.”
