Hoteliers wishing to secure more wedding bookings (the average UK wedding costs £27,000) will now have to do more to attract a new generation of bride and grooms believes wedding specialist Kelly Chandler, founder of The Bespoke Wedding Company.
Chandler said: “Long gone are the days of the venue selling itself, today’s couples want more for their money, are willing to become more creative with their theme and want stand-out imagery for their social media platforms.”
On the back of this change in demand, Chandler is launching an online course that will put hoteliers as ‘frontrunners’ in the race down the aisle.
She has been behind the sell-out Shine workshop for the last three years, but recognising she can’t be everywhere at once, the entrepreneur has put most of the content online enabling any venue of any size to get involved.
But it’s not just an online course, chandler is offering access to her membership community which is key for businesses who want to work together in today’s climate of cold leads.
Shine is a remote distance learning programme that is delivered online through 10 individual training video modules with over four hours of content allowing the viewer to watch in their own time.
Supported with downloadable substantial written training notes and including a bonus remote live session, plus lessons from two guest speakers on working with professional bloggers and producing impactful visuals.
The course aims to get hotels back to the top of the list when it comes to creating a wedding offering. And with topics such as analysing market trends, delving into bridal psychology and designing a spot-on wedding offer, it’s an essential go-to training guide.
The investment is £997 plus VAT and a unique online log-in allows access to the material for the next nine-months.
Chandler is known as an innovator, mentor, trainer and industry spokesperson on and in the wedding business with roles as an ambassador for the industry body, The UK Alliance of Wedding Planners and as a judge for The Wedding Industry Awards.
She has worked at the heart of the wedding industry for over 15-years, and will now seek to help hundreds of hotel venues thanks to her new online course, Shine.
