Inn Collection Group acquires The Glenridding Hotel
The site will continue to operate until a refurbishment and remodelling takes place later this year.
The Inn Collection Group has announced it has completed its first acquisition of the year with the purchase of The Glenridding Hotel in Ullswater for an undisclosed value.
The existing site, which comprises a coffee shop, bar, restaurant and conference facilities, will continue trading until a sensitive refurbishment and remodelling takes place later this year.
The 38-bedroom Glenridding Hotel is located on the southern shore of Ullswater with views of Helvellyn. The acquisition takes the group’s Lake District portfolio to nine and its overall site count to 28, as it continues to roll out its “buy and build” growth plans.
Additionally, the Inn Collection Group said it now leads on the highest number of bedrooms per site for a pub company in the country.
Meanwhile, Ward Hadaway corporate partner Imogen Holland provided legal advice on The Glenridding Hotel acquisition with Neil Hart at Bradley Hall advising on pre diligence.
