Deutsche Hospitality appoints new COO

Dolp has spent the last 20 years leading hotels and regions for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Marriott International and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts

Deutsche Hospitality has announced that it has appointed Josef Dolp as its new chief operating officer, effective 1 June 2022.

In his new role, Dolp will oversee hotel operations and customer experience across all brands and geographies. 

The Austrian-native has spent the last 20 years leading large hotels and regions for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Marriott International and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.

Dolp joined Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in 2018 as executive vice president of southeast Asia and Australasia. Previously, he also served as area vice president of Macau, Taiwan and southeast China for Marriott International.
