Crerar Hotels unveils newly refurbished Balmoral Arms

Crerar Hotels has unveiled its’ newly refurbished Royal Deeside inn, which has been renamed as the Balmoral Arms, for the first time following a multi-million-pound investment. The £2.2m refurbishment is almost complete, with the Scottish hotel group providing a first look at the hotel’s new design concept, spa treatment rooms and dining experience. The refurb reportedly preserved the “unique character” of the building whilst creating individual deluxe suites, family suites, couple’s rooms and rooms designed specifically for guests who are visiting for outdoor adventures. The full refurbishment, including the restaurant and spa treatment rooms, will be complete by the end of June, according to Crerar, which said it is also investing in its people and portfolio with the creation of new jobs at the venue. The refurbishment is part of an ongoing programme of investment across 2022, which will see a total of £4.5m spent across Golf View Hotel and Spa in Nairn and Loch Fyne Hotel and Spa, as well as the Balmoral Arms. It takes the group’s total spend on the portfolio to £10m over the past year.
