The Park Hotel in Tynemouth has revealed a £3m refurbishment scheme which has seen all 55 en-suite bedrooms and bathrooms extensively renovated.
The first phase of work costing £2.5m began in 2018 and saw the construction of a new restaurant and kitchen. The hotel will re-open later this summer and the project will be completed with a further £500,000 spent on the reception area, the hotel’s ballroom and other event suites.
Kara Beecroft, sales and marketing manager, said: “We already have a stunning location and we are creating the facilities and top quality service to match.
“The team behind the hotel’s transformation have worked incredibly hard and we are all so proud of what has already been achieved and what we expect will be achieved in the coming months and years.”
