Countrywide Hotels bolstered its senior management team with the appointment of industry property and investment veteran, Alex Campbell as the company’s new commercial director.
The appointment comes amid Countrywide Hotels increasing demand to advise clients on expansion plans, asset management and disposal.
Campbell brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge from over 15 years working within the UK hotel sector, where he has handled several high-profile single assets, portfolio and investment projects in a brokerage role.
In the past 18 months, Countrywide Hotels has undertaken numerous projects to increase revenue and profits for its asset owners.
Campbell’s role will support the current Countrywide Hotels ownership base by leading product repositioning, rebranding with international franchise arrangements and supporting off-market purchases.
Darren Patt, managing director, said: “Alex brings with him a huge wealth of knowledge and experience and is a fantastic addition to the management team. Alex’s appointment as Countrywide Hotels Commercial director ushers in a new era for us, as we proactively look to develop acquisition and disposal of property in the hospitality market in the wake of the COVID pandemic and Brexit.”
