Marsh Farm Hotel, a Grade II listed former farmhouse in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, has been brought to market for offers in excess of £2,000,000.
Located just off the M4, near to Bath, Bristol and the Cotswolds, the 50-bedroom hotel is set in two acres of grounds. Views of the gardens can be enjoyed from the on-site Glassdoor restaurant or guests seeking lighter refreshments can retreat to the drinks lounge.
Alongside a regular flow of room bookings, the Georgian property has hosted up to 50 weddings a year in its detached function building, the Clarendon Suite, which can cater for up to 100 guests.
Marsh Farm also benefits from a corporate hospitality business with a further six banqueting and conference rooms.
Matthew Smith, partner at Knight Frank, which was instructed as sole selling agent, said: “Marsh Farm Hotel will no doubt appeal to an array of buyer profiles and benefits from an excellent location just off the M4 motorway.
“Located in an ideal spot for visitors to the Cotswolds or the popular city break destinations of the South West, buyers would be purchasing an established business with strong midweek income from corporate bookings alongside regular trade from its private leisure and wedding event business.”
