The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester has appointed Konstantin Grimm as its new hotel manager.
Grimm will work closely with Johan Scheepers, the general manager, and the existing team at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel to oversee all aspects of operations at the property.
With over 16 years in the business including roles within Conrad Hotels and Hilton Hotels, the hotel said Grimm is a hospitality professional with “ample experience” managing large hotels.
It added he was appointed due to his “strong focus and ability to develop strategic partnerships and stakeholder relations, as well as a keen eye for detail”.
Since his appointment, Grimm has already developed new strategic partnerships to widen The Refuge’s F&B offering including collaboration with The Great North Pie Company, Track Brewery, Pollen Bakery and Manchester Union, as well as activating the terrace space for the return of ‘Come As You Are’.
Grimm said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel team and I’m looking forward to bringing my hospitality expertise to the role. Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is iconic in Manchester and part of the city’s DNA. I look forward to developing partnerships throughout the city and most importantly producing exceptional results and memorable stays for our guests.”
Scheepers added: “Konstantin will be a great addition to the team here at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel. His experience and his commercial awareness will be invaluable, and I am looking forward to working with him.”
