A new boutique guest house, Driftwood, is set to open its doors to visitors in the North Wales seaside village of Rhosneigr tomorrow (8 December).
The six-bedroom, three-floor property, which has been refurbished to a “high” standard, also comes with a self catering lodge that provides the facilities of a luxury hotel, but with the “warmth and friendliness” of a Welsh guesthouse.
It is reported that guests will also benefit from en-suite rooms, Egyptian cotton linen, WiFi, and a smart TV connected to film and TV apps. Rooms will also come with additional complimentary luxuries such as toiletries, tea and coffee, local biscuits, as well as chilled water and bathrobe and slippers.
According to Rhosneigr Ltd, who owns the property, the self-catering lodge comes with its own separate entrance and outdoor seating area. Named ‘Driftwood Lodge’, the annex also features a king-size bed with en-suite shower, and comes complete with a kitchenette with all amenities.
Matthew Bullas and Katherine Owen, directors of Rhosneigr Ltd, said: “We are delighted to re-open Driftwood in the beautiful village of Rhosneigr and are looking forward to welcoming guests to our beautiful coastal pocket.
“We have a variety of rooms available to cater for families, couples and solo travellers, who we hope will be comfortable in the quiet surroundings of our boutique guesthouse.”
They added: “With the island set up to accommodate holidaymakers looking for everything from great restaurants to adventure sports, from golf to nature walks, Driftwood is perfectly located to provide a relaxed retreat in the well-designed luxury rooms at the end of an active and enjoyable day.”
