Penta Hotels has appointed Scottish hotelier Christopher Angus to take the lead as general manager at Pentahotel Inverness.

Angus brings with him many years’ experience in hotel and restaurant management and operations throughout Scotland, working both for international brands and boutique establishments.

Most recently, he was deputy general manager at The Scotsman Hotel, and prior to that, deputy general manager at Hotel Indigo, Edinburgh.

The Pentahotel Inverness was opened in March 2014 and is located in the city just a few minutes from the banks of the River Ness. With 90 rooms over five floors, the hotel offers a small number of onsite parking spaces and access to a nearby public car park. The hotel also has a gym which is open 24 hours.

Angus said: “I am delighted by the warm welcome to the Penta family I have received. I am looking forward to working with the team to help Pentahotel Inverness achieve its full potential and grow the business throughout 2023 and beyond.”
