The Bay Horse Hotel, which is located in Wigan close to Junction 24 of the M6, has now fully reopened after undergoing an extensive six figure investment that saw the complete modernisation of the site ahead of the new year.
As part of the refurbishment, all 28 en-suite rooms have been given new furniture, carpets, and a fresh colour scheme, with 50-inch TV screens and USB ports throughout. All of the bathrooms have also been completely refitted to provide guests with a “modern and stylish” experience.
The hotel offers four different room types, including two accessible rooms.
The reception and lobby area has also been fully upgraded with new décor, windows, and doors, while the outside gained a marquee with a 100-inch TV screen and capacity of 80 covers.
The front beer garden, which has new lighting, furniture and outside bar, can comfortably seat up to 120 guests.
In addition, the adjoining pub offers a variety of family friendly food with a range of good value deals all year round, including their famous challenge dishes.
Anthony Hardman, general manager of The Bay Horse Hotel, said: “We’re delighted with the changes we’ve made to The Bay Horse, and the modern yet welcoming feel we’ve achieved. We can’t wait for guests to see the transformation.”
