Welcome to the new-look Hotel Owner website

Welcome to the new-look Hotel Owner website

In this episode we speak to Anthony Hunt, partner and co-head of Corporate Real Estate at law firm Howard Kennedy. We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

Unbeknownst to most of our readers, the team at Hotel Owner magazine has been working hard in recent months to revamp the website. We’ve rebuilt it from the ground up, and we have some ambitious content plans to make it the go-to news portal for the UK hospitality sector.

First off, there’s the new Editor’s Blog (which you have already stumbled across, if you’re reading this). I will enter a weekly submission to this column so do check back for an analytical take on some of the biggest news stories of any given week.

Next, we will be posting a much greater volume of feature content, whether it be Q&A sessions with industry figures, reproduced features from the magazines, photo galleries, product launch information and much more.

There are other exciting changes in the pipeline and I will keep you posted as and when we are ready to announce the upcoming tranches of improvement to the Hotel Owner brand.

Happy reading!
