Countrywide Hotels has appointed two key members to the senior teams with Sadie Rowell in the new position of head of sales, and Ben Sanders as general manager at Mercure Banbury Whately Hall Hotel.
Rowell’s role has been created to support director of sales & marketing, Ben Hioco, and will focus on corporate account development and growing and developing the field sales team.
Rowell previously held positions as director of sales at Wybston Lakes Resort, Fairview Hotels, Down Hall and Chartridge Conference Centres as well as regional sales roles with Menzies and Hanover hotels.
Sanders has joined as the new general manager at Mercure Banbury Whately Hall Hotel, and has general manager experience with Milton Hill, Oxford, Macdonald Ansty Hall and Four Pillars, Abingdon and hotel manager at Randolph Oxford.
Darren Patt, managing director of Countrywide Hotels, said: “The growth of Countrywide Hotels has led to the development of the team and we are delighted to welcome both Sadie and Ben at this exciting time and look forward to helping them develop the hotels for our owners”.
Countrywide Hotels manages and develops privately owned hotels and currently has a portfolio of 10 properties.
