Norton Park Hotel unveils brand new look

ADS Design, an independent, architectural design practice is the mastermind behind the architecture of the hotel

Norton Park Hotel Spa and Manor House has completed the refurbishment of its 16th Century property.

Located just outside of the historic cathedral city of Winchester, an “extensive” refurbishment has taken place across the 152-bedroom, with the hotel guest rooms and communal areas refreshed and modernised.

The communal areas include an orangery, lounge and walled garden. Bedrooms have been updated with a blend of “neutral” textiles, in keeping furniture, and a free-standing bath in one of the guest suites.

Guests also have full access to the main hotel facilities including health club, bar, restaurant, grounds, and guest services.

The Manor House, set in the grounds of Norton Park Hotel and Spa, offers 13 ensuite bedrooms, to accommodate up to 26 guests. The place was recently restored and refurbished by ‘Fusion by Design’, interior designers capturing a “classic” country aesthetic.

The 17th Century Hampshire Tythe Barn, also located on the extensive hotel grounds has been brought into the 21st Century with new lighting, flooring and bathrooms installed.

A commercial kitchen has also been fitted to accommodate catering for both weddings and corporate events.

The hotel’s main events space, the Norton Suite, is currently being modernised with updated flooring and décor as well as improved access to the private bar, which will be complete in March.

General manager Paul Russell said: “Norton Park Hotel, Spa and Manor House is in an incredible location and its recent makeover is not only a delight to behold, but it will also ensure that we continue to offer guests the best possible experience during their stay.
“Updates to the Manor House, Tythe Barn and Norton Suite have also helped to cement us as one of the best wedding and events venues in the region and we look forward to welcoming both returning and new guests alike.”
