Hilton London Bankside has been awarded ‘Hotel of the Year’ at the 2023 Splendid Hospitality Awards, which took place on Monday (27 February).
This award is the latest addition to the number of prizes the hotel has already won in the past: for two years in a row Hilton London Bankside was named the best UK’s Luxury City Hotel as well as winning the ‘Hotel of the Year’ at the Cateys 2020.
The Splendid Hospitality Group is one of the UK’s fastest growing privately-owned hotel groups with a portfolio spanning from London to Bristol through to Scotland and its annual awards celebrate high-achieving hotels and talented individuals who have gone above and beyond in the past year.
Hilton London Bankside received the highly acclaimed award for its ongoing achievements and successes across all aspects of the business, despite facing the challenges of an unpredictable market.
The recent award also accredits the hotel’s incredible dedication to the health and wellbeing of its team members, as well as its continued efforts to support the local community. In 2020, when the pandemic started, the hotel kickstarted its efforts to raise money that went to Hospitality Action, a service offering support to those who work within the hospitality industry.
More recently, the hotel also joined London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s Business Climate Challenge in which it pledges to reduce its energy consumption and accelerate its decarbonisation efforts across the building.
