London based hospitality company Lore Group has recently made two key additions to its executive team with the appointment of Matthew Thomas as chief operating officer and Fiona Morgan as global director of sales, marketing and PR.
Thomas is joining Lore Group from the Timothy Oulton Hospitality Collection where he was CEO. Prior to that role, he held the position of general manager at Soho House in New York and Istanbul before being promoted to COO of Soho House for Europe in 2015. Under his new role, Thomas will be responsible for the operations of the group including their hotels, restaurants and bars.
Morgan is joining Lore Group from her own consultancy firm which she managed for a decade, working with high-end hotels such as the Nomad London, The Standard and Chiltern Firehouse. She also represented 14 independent hotels in different locations, such as LA, Miami and London. In her new position, Morgan will be in charge of the group’s strategy across sales, marketing and PR for all properties.
David Taylor, Lore Group’s CEO, said: “I’m thrilled to have Matthew and Fiona on board and look forward to working with them to shore up our existing hotels and operating platform, and position the group as we expand into new cities with additional properties. Their wealth of experience and reputation in their respective fields are a huge asset to our group.”
