Hort’s Townhouse in Bristol has reopened its pub with new boutique rooms, after undergoing a major refurbishment.
The new pub with rooms will open its doors on 23 March 2023.
Located on Broad Street, the Grade-II listed Young’s pub has been redesigned into a townhouse, serving up a menu which features seasonal British produce, craft beers and cask ales.
The pub is situated on the ground floor and the upper floors host 19 individually designed rooms.
The rooms, which range from ‘the cosy’ to ‘the loft’, have connecting rooms, sofa beds, and space for cots.
Some rooms also feature “expansive windows and high ceilings”, with others boasting “quirky corners and separate freestanding bathtubs”.
Hort’s Townhouse added that every room now has a Hypnos bed, a rainfall shower, mini bar, coffee machine and dedicated working space. Some rooms are also dog-friendly.
Throughout the space, glass etchings and vintage leather chairs and booths have been incorporated into the design whilst a feature chandelier hangs in the blue-panelled dining room with artwork throughout.
All-day menus focus on seasonal British plates which utilise local produce and fresh seafood, curated by head chef Michael Pooley.
The pub will also offer guests breakfast, lunch and a British afternoon tea with pastries, scones and seasonal sandwiches.
