Malmaison Manchester, a four-star boutique hotel in Manchester’s city centre, has revealed the first look of its newly refurbished guest rooms, suites, and Malmaison Bar and Grill.
The refurbishment of 60 of the hotel’s 167 bedrooms, including five corner suites, combines design influences from Manchester’s history with subtle references to the origin of the building, which was formerly a Joshua Hoyle and Sons Cotton factory.
The transformation also includes the addition of bold pops of colour, feature walls and Manchester themed artwork throughout. All corridors and communal areas have also been refreshed, as part of the renovation.
Malmaison said that an effort has been made to ensure refurbishments are sustainable with a focus put on upcycling existing signature pieces and furniture.
Furthermore, the soft refurbishment of Malmaison Bar and Grill includes the addition of a “bold” colour scheme and “intimate” seating options interspersed with new artwork and feature pieces inspired by Manchester’s art and design heritage.
Malmaison Bar and Grill is also “the only” restaurant which houses Josper Grills.
