Compass Hospitality acquires The Rox Hotel Aberdeen

Compass Hospitality is advancing its UK market position with the new addition of The Rox Hotel Aberdeen to its ever-growing portfolio. The Rox Hotel of 17-23 Market Street Aberdeen is the company’s seventh hotel in Scotland and 17th in the United Kingdom, as the company undergoes a post-pandemic surge in acquisitions. This modern 4-star 32-bedroom property boasts well-equipped en-suite rooms inclusive of two luxurious suites and can accommodate 180 guests. The hotel also offers the 100-cover ‘Rox Grill Room’ restaurant in addition to the 70-cover on-site café and bar. Harmil Singh, CEO of Compass Hospitality, said: “The addition of this delightful 4-star property to our expanding UK hotel portfolio demonstrates our confidence particularly in the Scottish hospitality market, and we continue to look forward optimistically to further growth in this area.” The eight-storey property, which has been purchased for an undisclosed sum as a joint venture by the Singapore-based company Seacare Hospitality along with Compass Hospitality, will continue to welcome UK-inbound and domestic visitors and tourists alike, as well as maintaining its base of local corporate guests. Compass Hospitality is one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing hospitality management companies. The group expanded into the UK market in 2015 and has since built a portfolio of 17 hotels across major cities, including London, Glasgow and Manchester.
