Virgin Hotels has appointed Abigail Trangmar as director of Global Sales, UK.
In her new role, Trangmar will oversee sales initiatives and cross-collaborate with stakeholders across Virgin Group to drive revenue growth and expand brand presence for Virgin Hotels within the UK market.
Trangmar brings a “wealth” of knowledge and expertise to the group having worked in the hospitality industry for over 15 years. She most recently served for six years as destination manager at transatlantic tour operator Virgin Atlantic Holidays.
In that role, she managed strategic partnerships and worked closely with tourist boards to surpass revenue goals for the brand’s global portfolio. Prior to that, Trangmar worked in various capacities at Trailfinders, a bespoke tour operator specialising in worldwide travel itineraries.
