Sea Containers London has launched its brand new ‘Commuter Club’, the hotel’s first subscription service for those guests regularly travelling to London.
It said the subscription offers all the benefits of a London pied-à-terre and it is targeted at remote workers, freelancers and digital nomads who want to benefit from a number of hotel stays, gym access and a cabin trunk to store clothes and personal belongings til the next visit.
Commuter Club has three different tiers and price packages to meet different needs. The first tier comes at £1,550 per month and includes 60 stays a year. The second tier is priced at £2,300 monthly for 90 stays and the third tier comes at £2,700 monthly for 120 stays.
Besides overnight accommodation, each tier also includes food and beverage discounts throughout the hotel’s restaurants and bars, personalised in-room amenity selection, use of spa facilities and secure bike storage.
In addition, Commuter Club members can take advantage of the hotel’s public areas, private meeting rooms and dining rooms for an additional fee. Members will also be able to name up to three people who will be able to use their subscription and pets can stay free of charge.
Sea Containers London’s general manager PJ Kenny said: “We have seen an increase in our regular guests, who stay multiple nights throughout the month, and with the rise of the digital nomad well underway we wanted to create a monthly membership program which would offer a flexible and accommodating package for those who aren’t based in London but have to regularly travel to the city for work or other commitments.”
