Inhabit Hotels has announced the appointment of Jessica Roberts as head of wellbeing.
Roberts joins Inhabit Hotels from Triyoga, where she was previously events manager.
Roberts brings eight years of experience working in the yoga and wellbeing sectors in the UK and in Nepal and Sri Lanka.
As head of wellbeing, Roberts leads curation of Inhabit’s daily well being offering, “Inhale at Inhabit”, including hatha, vinyasa flow, kundalini and yin yoga, sound healing therapy and meditation classes in the studio at Inhabit, Queen’s Gardens.
She will also work with guest experts and teachers to curate an “engaging” series of regular workshops, lectures, classes and events, focused on helping guests “recharge”, “invigorate”, “connect” and “learn”.
On joining the team, Roberts has introduced reiki to the Inhale at Inhabit treatment offering and crafted three new treatment “journeys”—Calming, Awakening, and Balancing—which are paired with in-room touch points such as herbal teas, pulse point oils, or sleep-inducing balms from British skincare brand partner GAIA, and wellness shots selected by the social enterprise, Social Supermarket.
Roberts said: “I am delighted to have joined Inhabit Hotels at such an exciting time for the brand, following our recent B Corp Certification at Inhabit, Southwick Street and the opening of our newest hotel, Inhabit, Queen’s Gardens and the wonderful wellbeing facilities we have here.
“Having been created with health and wellbeing very much in mind, our hotels are a dream to work with as Head of Wellbeing. I’m looking forward to building on our offering and supporting our guests and local community to feel healthy, rested and revitalised when they walk through our doors.”
Inhabit Hotels said: “Inhabit Hotels is a brand with a passion for wellbeing and living in a way that supports a healthy mind and body, as well as modelling responsible hospitality practices. Regarding wellness not simply as a physical state, but as a way of being, is at the heart of the Inhabit brand.”
