The Pig Hotels has announced the appointment of Tom Ross as its new CEO effective immediately.
Ross, who the company joined in 2013, has led the company’s day-to-day operations since he was named managing director in March 2022.
In his new role, he will continue to run the existing business, seek out new business opportunities and work closely with founder and chairman Robin Hutson, who will be primarily focused on identifying and developing new properties.
Hutson stated: “On behalf of the board of directors, I am delighted to confirm Tom’s role as CEO. He has led the company through our transformative transaction with KSL Capital Partners, while taking on the responsibilities of managing the day-to-day operations of The Pig Hotels.
“He is an outstanding example of “home-grown” talent, and I very much look forward to working with him to develop our new properties and continue to build the business.”
Ross added: “I am thrilled for the opportunity to lead this world-class hotel collection. Working with Robin over the past decade has been a privilege, and I cannot wait to continue our collaborative relationship as we capitalise on our new opportunities together.”
The Pig Hotels has a portfolio of eight hotels across the UK.
