Cardrona Hotel appoints new general manager

Macdonald Hotels and Resorts has recently appointed Mark Steedman as general manager of Cardrona Hotel, Golf and Spa in the Scottish Borders. Steedman, who is originally from Edinburgh, has more than 20 years of experience working in the hospitality sector. Prior to joining Macdonald Hotels and Resorts, he was general manager at Fairfield House Hotel in Ayr, a position he held for almost seven years. Steedman said he joins the group with ambitions to refine the experiences at Cardrona Hotel, Golf and Spa, placing a particular emphasis on developing the hotel’s team.
