The Adria hotel is pleased to announce that it has become a member of Leading Hotels of the World, a collection of over 400 independent, luxury hotels across 80 countries.
This announcement follows the hotel’s recent news of becoming the first UK hotel to join the Swiss Bürgenstock Collection.
The Adria is a 1870s townhouse in South Kensington, just a stone’s throw from Hyde Park and London’s leading museums and galleries. Having previously been a private residential home, The Adria was acquired by Katara Hospitality, parent company for the Bürgenstock Collection, in 2021.
The property underwent a £1m restoration, led by hospitality interior design consultants Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), before opening its doors to the public in January 2022.
Gary Redmond, general manager at The Adria, said: “We are thrilled to be joining Leading Hotels of The World, being placed alongside a group of the finest and most luxurious properties, is an exciting prospect for the hotel.
