Stanwell House opens revamped garden space

The investment into the outdoor space was part of the multi-million pound refurbishment of the whole hotel which reopened at the end of last year

Stanwell House in the New Forest has reopened its garden space following a recent renovation project.

The boutique hotel has also applied for planning permission to further renovate the garden space.

The garden has open space and shade, with large parasols and plenty of vintage seating and the garden wall is lined with vining wisteria that scales the length of the space.

The investment into the outdoor space was part of the multi-million pound refurbishment of the whole hotel which reopened at the end of last year.

Lance Bartlett, general manager at Stanwell House, said: “The garden area has previously been an under-utilised resource and we believe its potential is too valuable to be wasted, especially as we head into the summer months. By transforming the outdoor space, we aim to offer our guests an additional area to enjoy during their stay.”

“We are very fortunate to be situated in such a picturesque town and as more people visit the area in the summer months, we want Stanwell House to be the first name on peoples lips — and I think the garden space will really help us with that.”
