The Wiltshire-based Bishopstrow country house hotel has reopened following an “extensive refurbishment”.
The hotel offers 34 individually-styled rooms which include panoramic views, roll top baths, and private outside spaces including a selection of hot tub suites.
The hotel’s restaurant the Garden Grill has also reopened led by executive chef Philip Lewis.
The restaurant offers a seasonal menu for breakfast lunch and dinner with a no-dig policy.
Lewis said: “To cook is to create; And to create with ingredients that are fresh, sustainable and lovingly grown on our own land – well, that’s a special kind of magic. Locally sourced ingredients have character and charm that can’t be found anywhere else. When we use them in our dishes, we’re celebrating the diversity and richness of Wiltshire’s culinary heritage.”
Darren Stephens, chef gardener, added: “Our no-dig kitchen garden is at the heart of our restaurant. It’s amazing how much flavour and nutrition can be packed into a dish when you use produce that’s picked just hours before it’s
served.”
Lastly the hotel’s boutique spa offers a range of treatments including massages, facials, body wraps as well as heat treatments like a sauna and a steam room.
