Hospitality technology investor Gahn Capital has announced the acquisition of the Chic Retreats brand and technology as part of its continued expansion.

Chic Retreats is the latest addition to the company’s current portfolio which includes Hotec and Guestmaster International, both now trading as Acomos.

Gahn Capital acquired Chic Retreats’ assets, technology and customer contracts concluding the negotiations on the 14 August. The business will continue to operate as Chic Retreats with the support of new CEO and stakeholder Georgia Panteli. Panteli joins Chic Retreats with valuable experience having worked for various travel brands for over 24 years.

 Panteli said: “I couldn’t be more excited to join Chic Retreats, and look forward to developing this wonderful travel lifestyle brand further.”

The founder of Chic Retreats, Lulu Townsend, added that she was “delighted that Chic Retreats will be moving ahead with its brand and technology developments with the core team in place”.

Gahn Capital has said that with the transaction officially complete and the company is “eager to reignite the brand and deliver against its early promise under the new company”.
