Birmingham’s city centre hotel, Park Regis, has opened its brand-new terrace, serving up a new destination for al-fresco drinks and dining this summer.

Located just a short walk from Five Ways station, 1565 Bar and Terrace has seen a £15,000 refurbishment in partnership with Molson Coors, transforming the 209 sq. ft. space space with fresh foliage, mood lighting and luxurious new seating for around 100 guests.

The new-look terrace also features an updated bar menu, with a range of summer cocktails, canapés and seasonal light bites. Alternatively, guests can choose dishes from the adjacent Indus restaurant.

Park Regis is the flagship hotel from Switch Hospitality Management, which also provides asset management and consultancy services for Holiday Inn Express Birmingham South, St Martin’s Place, Lyndon House, Nite Nite Hotel and the new Aparthotel Birmingham Snowhill, opening later this year.

Aimee Smith, group marketing director at Switch Hospitality Management, said: “The refurbishment of our 1565 Bar & Terrace brings a sophisticated, outdoor oasis for both locals and hotel guests to enjoy. As the weather starts to warm up again, this is the perfect time to join us for casual gatherings, special occasions or corporate events in the sun.”
