Home Grown Hotels has revealed that profits fell to £1.3m for the year ended 31 December 2022, down from £1.7m in 2021.
The company has put this decrease down to an increase in costs including staff wages, rates and utilities.
This comes despite the fact the company’s turnover increased to £51m up from £35m in 2021.
The company’s average occupancy was 91% and its average restaurant covers was 1,445.
Home Grown Hotels was acquired by an investment fund managed by KSL Capital LLC in March 2022.
This deal came as a result of Ineos founder Sir Jim Ratcliffe selling his 50% stake in the business.
Home Grown Hotels is the parent company of The Pig Hotels which has eight properties located in the countryside throughout southern England.
