The Heathmount Hotel in Inverness has been brought to the market for £1.4m.
The listing is being managed by the hotel and leisure division of UK Property Firm Graham and Sibbald.
The Heathmount Hotel features an eight-bedroom boutique hotel with a F&B business, an outside terrace with integrated heaters, firepits and an outdoor TV.
The hotel interiors include traditional features with modern fixtures and fittings, two large bars, a restaurant and a private dining area.
The property has also benefited from significant investment over the past few years, including a new commercial kitchen, room upgrades and new carpeting throughout.
Graham and Sibbald stated that the Heathmount offers a “great business opportunity for the right buyer to build upon the already stellar reputation and frequent return guests”.
Peter Seymour, a director with Graham and Sibbald, said: “We were delighted to bring to the market the Heathmount Hotel. This outstanding hotel has proven itself to be a key player in the Inverness market attracting large crowds all year round. It is regarded as one of the city’s key leisure institutions and its reputation is well known. The seller has decided now is the time to retire from the trade and presents a very well presented and highly profitable business for the next owner to enjoy.”
Fiona Newton, owner of The Heathmount Hotel, added: “This is a bittersweet announcement. I have owned and operated The Heathmount Hotel for over thirty-years and can honestly say it is so much more than a pub, hotel and restaurant. Our loyal staff and customer base make The Heathmount a true community hub and I will miss being at the centre of it. However, I believe it is time for a new generation to take over and build on my success so I can spend more time with my grandchildren.”
