Maybourne has announced the appointment of Alexander Dietrich as its new chief construction and design officer.
Previously Dietrich operated as director of Project Management and Construction at Craigewan and then executive director at Goldman Sachs, within the Investment Banking Division.
In his new role at Maybourne, he will work across the global properties, focusing on the design, project and construction management for all existing hotels and new developments.
Maybourne is the operator of London’s Claridge’s, The Connaught, The Berkeley and soon to be The Emory.
The company also owns and operates international properties such as The Maybourne Beverly Hills and The Maybourne Riviera.
Roland Fasel, chief operating officer at Maybourne, said: “We are delighted to welcome Alexander to the team, particularly at such a crucial moment in our Maybourne journey with exciting developments on the horizon. As a highly experienced real estate leader, Alexander brings a huge wealth of expertise, which is highly valuable as we continue to develop and grow our portfolio.”
Dietrich added: “I’m honoured to join Maybourne at this pivotal time. My past experience of managing complex projects and multiple stakeholders provides me with a unique foundation to realise the group’s ambitions and I look forward to working with the design and delivery teams across the globe.”
