The Leinster Hotel in Dublin is set to open in Merrion Square in January 2024, becoming the Irish capital’s first luxury lifestyle hotel.
It will be home to 55 bedrooms and suites, The Collins Club bar and supper club, a luxury boutique gym and thermal suite experience.
Alongside this, chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten will launch Jean-Georges at The Leinster, a restaurant taking residence upon the hotel’s rooftop.
It has been designed by Dublin-based architects ODAA and Henchion Reuter Architects and interior designers O’Donnell O’Neill Design.
Each space at the has been marked by artists from Ireland and abroad and there will be over 300 curated pieces of original painted art from more than 80 artists.
Melanie Nocher, general manager of The Leinster, said: “The hotel boasts beautiful bedrooms and Jean-Georges on the rooftop, and we are so looking forward to welcoming guests through our doors.
“Modern bold designs flirt with local art and beautiful patterned fabrics; guests at The Leinster can expect a welcoming and personalised hotel experience which plays host to those after spur of the moment luxurious city stays and longer lingering escapes to Ireland.”
Vongerichten added: “Dublin is a city that, for many years, I’ve wanted to discover and explore. It has such a rich history and expansive cuisine, culture, and amazing ingredients that I’m excited to dive into.
“At The Leinster, we are bringing a taste of Asia, France and New York to the rooftop but also leaning into the local Irish producers to create a unique dining experience for all guests. We will offer familiar yet different dishes to Dublin locals and tourists alike and we look forward to welcoming you all to Jean-Georges at The Leinster!”
