Andaz London Liverpool Street has announced the appointment of Miriam Varoli as its new general manager.

Varoli brings 25 years of experience within Hyatt and will spearhead the five star luxury lifestyle hotel.

Situated in an historic grade listed building, the hotel features 267 guestrooms, five distinct F&B venues and 15 “unique” meeting and event spaces.

Varoli returns to London, having held her first job in the industry at the Ritz London. More recently, she was general manager of Hyatt Regency Osaka and Hyatt Regency Kyoto. She has also been working on special projects for the Hyatt Asia Pacific leadership team at the Hong Kong hub.

Originally from Australia, Varoli started her journey with Hyatt Hotels Corporation at Grand Hyatt Melbourne. She has since then held various roles at Hyatt properties around the world, including Grand Hyatt Cairo and Grand Hyatt Singapore

She said: “From the moment I stepped inside Andaz London, I have been mesmerised by the uniqueness of the hotel. The property is exciting and the neighbourhood is buzzing. I am looking forward to being part of this truly special group of committed and caring colleagues to offer continued excellence of service.”
