The luxury boutique ‘farm’otel’, Outbuildings Dorset, has revealed its plans to open two more lodges in February 2024.
The family-run converted farm sleeps two to six people in each of its seven lodges – soon to be nine in February next year.
Each lodge has been converted from traditional barns and farm buildings, and it is open for dogs and adults only.
The two new lodges will be located in ‘The Byre’ and will both feature outdoor copper baths, showers with a view, and big beds that look out of the wall of glass.
Local chef Mark Kick, formerly of The Ivy, also comes to the Outbuilding three times a week to offer dishes off his seasonal menu. The venue also provides home-cooked ‘ready meals’ in each lodge.
In addition, the Outbuilding offers champagne in the woodland outdoor hot tub, the Hay Barn Cinema, pizza and cocktails, and a breakfast bites hamper.
According to the owners, it’s a place to “escape the rat run and immerse yourself in quiet indulgence”.
