Green Circle Leisure has secured planning for the development of Allerton Manor Golf Club hotel.
In December 2022, Liverpool City Council rejected proposals for a 66-bed hotel above the current Grade II-listed manor house on the site.
However, government planning inspector John Braithwaite has now overturned that ruling.
The hotel, which forms part of a wider project to transform the Allerton Manor Golf Course will include 66 bedrooms and a spa.
The site will also include a new clubhouse, an external terrace, bandstand, car park, cycle parking area, a family friendly adventure golf course and the expansion of the existing golf course to a par 72 Championship course.
Green Circle anticipates that the new additions and developments will create over 200 jobs, bringing economic growth and employment opportunities to the local community.
The group said: “This is a landmark moment for Green Circle Leisure and we cannot wait to embark on this incredible journey.”
