Polizzi Collection appoints new GM at The Star
The Star is the third hotel in The Polizzi Collection, having opened in June 2021, with Olga and Alex Polizzi at the helm
The Polizzi Collection has announced the appointment of Theresa Collins as general manager at The Star in Alfriston, East Sussex.
Collins joins the hotel collection from Glenapp Castle in Scotland where she was also general manager.
Prior to her role at Glenapp Collins was deputy general manager at Cliveden House, and prior to that was hotel manager at The Royal Horseguards Hotel.
She has also worked as a hotel inspector and started her career running two successful catering businesses.

Collins said: “After a successful time at Glenapp Castle, I am excited about this new challenge. I have long admired The Polizzi family and their three hotels in the South of England. I look forward to joining the team at The Star and supporting Olga and Alex Polizzi in the running of this beautiful property in the South Downs National Park.”
Alex Polizzi added: “We are pleased to welcome Theresa to The Star, joining us as general manager. We are sure she will be a great addition to the team.”
