The InterContinental London hotel, based at the O2 in Greenwich, has appointed Holger Marass as director of operations.
Marass has over 16 years’ experience within the hospitality industry, and began his career is Germany at Hilton Munich City before transferring to the Hilton London Metropole in 2006.
He subsequently worked at several four and five-star central London hotels, and his most recent position was as food and beverage manager at Park Plaza London Riverbank and Plaza on the River.

Holger is a top-level professional with a wide breadth of experience in the London hotel market and an excellent ability to motivate and lead teams. Marass, commenting on his appointment, said: “I am thrilled to be taking on the role of director of operations at InterContinental London – The O2. With several F&B outlets, a spa and extensive M&E facilities at the hotel, my focus initially will be on working closely with Globy and the rest of the fantastic hotel teams to ensure that the highest standards are set and that our guests always leave with highly memorable experiences.”
