The Star and Garter Hotel in Linlithgow Scotland has been put on the market for £50,000 a year in rent.
The 250 year old hotel features five ensuite rooms as well as a 100 cover restaurant and bar and a 30 cover cafe at the rear.
The current owner has stated that they are seeking a leaseholder committed to the business and is willing to invest in the building alongside any potential tenant.
The hotel featured on hit Channel 4 series Four in a Bed back in February 2022 and is being marketed by Scottish Business Agency.
The agency said: “Located on the corner of High Port and High Street. The Star and Garter is a 250 year-old, three-storey Georgian mansion house. The rooms require minimal investment to be brought back to modern standard, all en-suite, good size and layout.
“The town is eager to see one of its most prominent buildings brought back to trade. When operating previously, the restaurant featured a traditional scottish menu, range of beers and ales, as well as cocktails.”
